Supplier of transfer stations
Once the waste has been sorted at source, it is transferred from refuse collection vehicles to larger containers. This enables more efficient waste handling, as smaller quantities of waste only need to be transported over short distances.
Due to the increasing need for recycling and the sorting of different types of waste, we also offer the production and installation of transfer stations. This ensures that waste is handled correctly, efficiently and in accordance with applicable regulations, allowing it to be recycled and contribute to a circular and sustainable economy.
The transfer station can easily be installed on an existing stable and level surface, eliminating the need for excavation, soil removal and the construction of new foundations. The transfer station is supplied with an access ramp, edge beams and steel fencing.

Optimal utilisation of transfer stations
A transfer station is typically 2.6 metres high, corresponding to the height of a container. The space beneath the transfer station can be used for toilet facilities, changing rooms, machinery storage, a waste compactor container or other purposes.
This provides a robust and highly functional solution, while allowing waste to be transferred easily and directly from vehicle to container without being placed on the ground.
A future-proof, operational, flexible
Modulo transfer station is a flexible solution that can be easily moved due to the embedded lifting anchors. If more fractions are needed, additional modules can be installed typically during a single day.

Transfer Station
Reference – Odense Renovation A/S
Odense Renovation A/S ordered a Modulo unloading bay. After a good and constructive dialogue, Odense Renovation chose a unloading bay from Modulo Systems. The solution includes 33 concrete modules, edge beams, fences, windows, stairs, and rolling gates for trucks, as well as space for equipment storage under the concrete modules. The installation took only a few days, after which the solution was ready for operation in December 2019.
Transfer Station

Modulo Systems has installed an additional unloading bay in Finland for the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority. In December 2019, the station was ready for operation just 1-2 days after the installation began. The unloading bay is 24 meters long and 6 meters wide, ensuring environmentally friendly waste management, as the waste goes directly from truck to container. Furthermore, a work process has been eliminated, as the waste does not need to be loaded by machines after the truck has unloaded it. The solution consists of 16 concrete modules, edge beams, and fences.
