PRODUCTS FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITIES

We provide consultancy, design, installation and commissioning, taking full responsibility for the project from start to finish.
Hazardous waste remains a concern even after it has been delivered to the local recycling station. The waste can release toxic vapours that may be harmful to the health of recycling station staff. These vapours must therefore be removed. To comply fully with occupational health and safety requirements, local exhaust ventilation should be installed for the individual drums and containers in which hazardous waste is sorted.
Ventilation for Hazardous Waste
Ventilation and local exhaust ventilation for hazardous waste. A typical installation consists of ventilation ducts mounted at ceiling level along all walls of the room. T-pieces with EX hoses are installed at 80 cm intervals for connection to the local exhaust solutions below.
Individual extraction for barrels and drums
Our specially developed lids for drums and barrels ensure continuous extraction, even when open. The lids are made of powder-coated aluminium. Each lid comes with a practical holder, making drum replacement quick and easy. The lids are available for 60, 120 and 220-litre drums.
Spot extraction for 600L container
The solution is supplied as a booth with an extraction lid, into which the container is positioned. The pneumatic lid, available as either a split lid or a single lid, is easily raised at the touch of a button. The solution is made of powder-coated steel panels and ensures continuous extraction from the container, even when the lid is open.
Oil Collection Station
Specially designed for handling waste oil. The oil bar is connected to the ventilation system, which automatically removes toxic fumes. Smaller quantities are poured directly into the oil bar, while larger quantities are extracted using the supplied suction wand. The oil bar connects to an external 1000 or 1500-litre tank and is made of powder-coated steel.
Safety Cage
Safety cage for pesticides, nitrate-based fertiliser waste, or other waste that must be stored securely under lock and key.
Fume Hood
A fume hood can be installed over a shelf or table used for temporary storage or sorting of hazardous waste.
Emergency shower
For quick first aid, and to minimize lasting damage after accidents involving dangerous waste, emergency showers are set up. Emergency showers are a combination of body showers and eye and face showers, and are always fitted in rooms for hazardous waste.
ATEX Lighting
The lighting in a hazardous waste room is provided as ATEX lighting, depending on the building’s zone classification.
Automatic Fire Extinguishing System
We can supplement the hazardous waste solution with automatically closing doors in case of fire, and automatic ceiling mounted ABC powder extinguishers.
